3月9日下午，浙江大学任绍曾教授应邀来我院做了精彩的学术讲座。任教授在国内外语学术界德高望重，任中国语篇分析研究会名誉会长、中国功能语言学研究会名誉副会长、中国文体研究会顾问、浙江省外文学会名誉会长，长期从事语法理论和语篇分析的研究，在国内学术期刊《外语教学与研究》、《外国语》、《外语研究》等发表论文50多篇，另有著作、译著、编著26本。
本次讲座，任教授先对系统功能语言学的理论框架进行了一番系统的梳理，然后结合自己所做的四个研究，着重引导青年教师如何在研究中确立问题意识，再运用合适的理论和方法结合实例、数据等进行解释。他指出，寻找问题非常重要，没有问题就没有科研。任教授的讲座富于条理性、深入性和启发性，对理论驾轻就熟，高屋建瓴，使在座的老师们受益匪浅。
任教授的研究特色可归纳为如下几点：1、重视以问题为导向而非为理论而理论；2、重视收集真实语料，坚持用语料说话；3、重视兼收并蓄，吸纳各家理论之长处；4、重视跟踪语言学学科发展前沿，及时运用新理论和新方法更好地解决自己长期思考与研究的语言问题。
